“ I've visited Palm Court Grill many times for lunch and while the food tends to be pretty standard the atmosphere is what really makes it! I've found it nearly impossible to make reservations by phone so don't waste your time if you don't need any special accommodations-you can save yourself the frustration of hold times and unanswered calls and go straight to Resy.com to book a reservation. If you're up for a sugar boost try the huckleberry lemonade- it's pretty delicious and they keep the refills coming! I usually try to book 'fireside' tables with friends and family to enjoy the ambiance of the historic hotel but this summer they are doing renovations in the lobby and are seating visitors in their dining room only. When I visited with my parents they sat us next to a window which we initially thought was fine until the constant flow of sirens and homeless people hanging out on the sidewalk started to take away from the otherwise enjoyable lunch and ambiance. Not knocking off any stars for that since that's not the fault of the Davenport just an FYI. I'd recommend holding off on a visit until August which the waitress informed us was the anticipated end date for the renovations. All said and done it's a very nice place to bring out of town guests and enjoy a casual lunch! We will definitely continue visiting and look forward to seeing the completed renovations! ”

“ Located in the historic Davenport Hotel, this beautiful restaurant is quaint and romantic. From the architecture to the music, you really enjoy the experience. The service was fantastic. I ate light tonight. I enjoyed the Shrip-Tini and the Crab Louie Salad. Everything was beautifully prepared. ”

“ We came for mother's day and it did not disappoint! Service was quick and attentive. The Bloody Mary bar is beautiful and everyone had fun making their own. They have everything you could want or need. The bread pudding tasted like Christmas on a plate! The duck confit omelet was everyone's favorite. It was juicy and packed with flavor! The crab Benedict was fresh and delicious. You can't go wrong with eating here on a special occasion. ”

“ We were back at the Palm Court Grill after a concert at Fox Theater. The Grill is a great spot for some old fashioned "fine dining." We were seated by the big fireplace, a perfect spot for a chilly evening. The Grill may be one of the only places left that serves a "green goddess" salad, and it was delicious. Our last visit found the Grill in transition between owners. The new menu and wine list was a welcome sight. We had a bottle of Moet Brut Imperial tableside to accompany our salads and French Onion Soup. Dinner was the ribeye steak, and it was perfectly prepared. The service was pleasant and attentive at every stage of the meal. We enjoyed our visit to the Palm Court Grill and look forward to visiting again. ”
